This is my fifth week taking online classes for Montessori teacher training at
http://www.usamontessori.org/ I can't even begin to tell you how much I've learned already. I've always wanted to read Maria Montessori's work and now I'm doing it with the support of great teachers and classmates.
And for $15 a month, it's a no-brainer because you can complete classes at your own pace, without having to give up a year of your life and a few grand to get AMI trained. Don't get me wrong, I'd totally love that, but it's just not feasible for me right now with two little ones, running my own part-time preschool, and living on one income. So this program has been a real godsend to me and to other Montessorians around the globe.
Maybe I'll see you in class some time?
